Summer Term Homework Project

We really enjoyed our topic launches today where we were recapping and learning locational knowledge linked to our topics over the years! We also looked at lots of famous landmarks and their locations around the world: some we knew already and others that were new to us. Have you decided which one you are going to re-create? Let us know here…

Remember, the only limits are your imagination! I know everyone will be blown away if anyone decides to incorporate any of our science learning on circuits, motors and switches 😉 but I’m also sure that whatever you decide to do will be fantastic!

You can make any of the landmarks that we looked at today or another of your own ideas and you can use any materials that you want to. We’ll try our best to help with materials so if you need anything, please just ask!

  1. Hi Mrs Larkin, I think I might do the statue of liberty. I think I might just be ok with my homework now thanks anyway! See you tomorrow.

  2. Hi Mrs Larkin I think that I might try making Cleopatra needle ( that was my Nans and grandad idea)or Blackpool landscape but there is a lot of ideas . I Have always wanted to make Blackpool tower but I don’t know what materials to use . I would be nice to put little fairy lights on the tower like is today .

    1. Oooo, I think both of those are good ideas. I have some ideas for materials: we could have a chat about it tomorrow 🙂

  3. Hi Mrs Larkin,

I think I will make the Colosseum out of cardboard. I think it is going to be hard because I am trying to make it look old.

  4. Hey Mrs Larkin, I am thinking of doing my Hollywood hills out of cake!🎂
I can not wait until next week when I go to Cornwall I have seen some lovely photos of were we are staying. I hope Next week everyone and you also have a lovely week.😁😛

    1. Cake sounds good to me! Yum! I bet you’ll have a fab time in Cornwall. I’ve just thought, is there anything you and your brother could do whilst you are away to get a stamp on your 100 list?
