# Happy New Year!

I hope you have all had a lovely break with your families and friends and enjoyed the holidays. Have you been up to anything exciting? Have you made any new year’s resolutions? I have: even though I already love reading lots of books, I have decided to try and make time to read even more. I’ll be sharing some of the ones I’ve read so you can enjoy them too….

We’re straight back into the learning with our new Victorians topic and will be launching this term’s homework projects on Friday 11th with a  little quiz 🙂

In Maths, we will be starting lots of work on fractions so knowing ALL of your times tables is a must! Our Learn Its this week will be to finish off the six fact challenge:

6 x 6 = 36

7 x 6 = 42

9 x 6 = 54

7 x 7 = 49

9 x 7 = 63

9 x 9 = 81

Hi Mrs Larkin I am loving the Victorian topic I can’t wait to get more into it. I have been on the game against the clock. I got three wrong and I got 12 the first time I tried it at school during spelling but now I have got 98
