Well done to Years 5 and 6 for an excellent day trying to solve the problem of dwindling numbers of people visiting the Italian region of Campania. We began the day by creating authentic versions of a pizza margherita and panpepato cakes. This was done with the help of many of our adults who were able to get stuck in with the dough making and garlic pressing: as the Italians would say ‘Grazie!’ Can you share anything you found out about these recipes (either how to make them or why they are associated with the region)?
We followed this up by discovering more about individual places within the region such as Capri, Sorrento and Amalfi. Can you tell us more about them? How are they similar to Worksop? How are they different? I’m looking forward to finding out all that you’ve discovered….

Which volcano am I?
