A fraction of your time please!

fractionsWe have been learning lots about fractions in our Numeracy work recently and I have been very impressed with how much progress you have all made 🙂
I have set up this post so that you can prove to me just how much you have understood!
I will set some fractions questions on here and not only can you answer them, you could write some of your own for others to answer (please make sure that your question/answer is achievable) or you could tell me some fractions of amounts that you know e.g. 3/4 of 12 = 9 etc.

Let’s start off with…

What is 1/3 of 27?

Come on Year 3, prove to me how good you are!!!

Hello Year 3, sorry it has been so long!!!

This term we are learning about Weather, Climate and Brazil in our topic called ‘Wish you were?’.

We had great fun presenting our topic launch as a News Report and loved that so many of our parents joined us to find out what we were going to be doing 🙂

We have begun our jigsaw research to find out some facts about the different elements that make up the weather and I thought it would be a good idea to share some of our facts and questions on the blog…

What have you found out about weather?  What would you like to know?  Can you answer someone else’s question?  Remember to only post facts if you understand them – please don’t just copy big chunks from books or websites!!!

I look forward to sharing your posts…
