Opposites

Welcome back, we hope you have enjoyed your Easter break. We held our topic launch this week and our new topic for this term is ‘Opposites’.

We have been reading Faster Faster Nice and Slow’ by Nick Sharratt and Sue Heap.

How many animals can you think of that move slowly ?

Lots of children are enjoying the books we share in FSU.  Watch out for ‘The book Fayre’ which is arriving in school next week.

We will be sending you a new curriculum letter and Knowledge Organiser with ideas for you to support your child’s learning at home.

The weather is changing and we have been talking about ways to stay safe in the sun. Please provide your child with a named sun hat and apply sun cream before they come to their FSU session.

    1. Does a butterfly move slowly? Their wings move very fast and sometimes they go round in circles.
