As part of our Harvest celebrations the Foundation Unit went to pick some apples from our apple trees. Then we needed to peel, core and chop them.
After that we needed to mix lots of ingredients such as flour, cinnamon, baking powder, eggs and sugar, together before we added our chopped up apples to the mix.
Then we put the mixture into a baking tray and cooked our apple cakes! We had to wait until Tuesday before we could taste them.
We invited Mrs Horgan to a street party as we wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for all the painting of our Worksop street scene in our garden. We were very EXCITED to be celebrating this revamp!
