This term we are hoping to look at replacing the markings on the school playground. We have taken some photos of what is already there and we would like you to tell us all about the games you play on the playground and if you use the markings out there. We are hoping to work with Mrs Brown to look at getting some new equipment and fundraise to replace the markings.
We desperately need your help and ideas!!!!!
Thank you for helping us.
From Barnaby, Jack and Charlie (and the rest of school council)
WOW!!!!! Thank you to everyone that supported our stalls at the Christmas Fayre. We ran 3 stalls and in total we raised £100!!!! Amazing!!! All of the money has gone into our fundraising pot to look at improving the school markings on the playground or bike /scooter storage.
Once again thank you for your support and a big thank you to all the grown ups that sent in donations of buns and cakes.

On Friday 5th December the FPTA are holding the school Christmas Fayre!!!
The school council are helping on 3 stalls this year.
There will be a chance for you to buy Christmas buns and biscuits, decorate a Christmas bauble biscuit with different sprinkles and icing, and also win a Christmas gingerbread house (if you buy a raffle ticket!)
All the money raised will go towards improving our school playground. We have been thinking of an area to store bikes and scooters or replacing some of the markings on the playground.
Remember to talk to your class school council representatives about any ideas you have for this.
Thank you for your support. We will see you at the Christmas Fayre!!!
Ho Ho Ho!!!
Today the School Council joined Twilight, Parents and staff to wrap lots of shoe boxes ready for filling with lots of goodies to send abroad for our Operation Christmas Child appeal. On Wednesday we will be showing a video in assembly all about this and showing you all the things you can bring to school or that you can put into your own shoebox. On Friday 14th November we will be joining Twilight again to fill the wrapped boxes with the goodies.
Please bring in anything you have that could go in the shoeboxes or make a shoebox of your own. You can also join us in Twilight to makes the boxes. All completed shoe boxes need to be at school for Friday 14th November. Please see Mrs Burton if you need any further information.
Thank you from Codie, Harry, School Council and Twilight.
As you know our sponsored child Grace has moved into her community and no longer needs our sponsorship.
World Vision , our schools chosen charity, has sent us information of a new child and community that need our sponsorship.
Yayah lives in Jaiama Bongor in Sierra Leone. He is 6 years old and has 4 brothers. He loves to play hide and seek and has a special job at home to look after his other brothers . He has the opportunity to attend a local school .
By putting pennies into your ‘Penny Any Day’ box we are able to help Yayah and his community to achieve lots of different things. Please keep bringing in your pennies and help us support Yayah!!!!!
Thank you from Priory School Council 🙂
The school council are helping again this year with the Macmillan Coffee day!!!
Please come and have a bun, biscuit and a cuppa with us on Friday 26th September. We will be in the school hall at 8:45am or 2:30pm.
Please help with any donation of cakes, buns or biscuits and also a little donation towards the Macmillan fund.
Thank you for your help and support 🙂
Hello Priory School,
I hope you are all thinking about becoming your School Council representative for this year. Remember to think hard about the role of a representative and what it takes to be involved. You do have to give up some of your own free time but we also do lots of exciting things.
Your class votes will take place this week so have your speeches ready for your class and teachers to hear. If you have any questions please come to see me or chat to one of the past representatives. I look forward to finding out who our new school council will be. Good Luck 🙂 Mrs Forman
We would like to thank everyone for their support at our stalls at the summer fayre. We raised £60 in total from the ‘Bog Ball’ game and the Loom Bands stall. A big thank you to everyone who also put any spare pennies into our bucket for Grace. All proceeds from the summer fayre are going towards our charity fundraising to continue to support Grace. Mrs Forman is going to count our Penny Friday money and will let you know next term how much we have rasied.
Thank you for all of your support through all of this year.
The new school council representatives votes for next year will take place in September.
